Research of CBD and Diabetes

Diabetes mellitus is a group of disorders generally associated with defects in insulin production and this leads to an inability to regulate blood sugar levels. There are two main types of diabetes: Type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes. Persons suffering from type 1 are unable to produce their own natural insulin and must rely on medication in order to survive. Those with type 2 produce an insufficient amount of insulin and cannot maintain a healthy insulin level in their body. This is a less serious type and can often be controlled through a strict diet. If diabetes is left untreated it can lead to kidney failure, blindness, amputation and death.
